A perfect solution for rooms on street level where you wish to block the gaze of nosey onlookers without losing all the natural light, our clever bottom up blind system can be raised and lowered as needed and stopped at any position. Giving you ultimate flexibility over the amount of light entering your room, this blind is made from a blackout fabric that offers complete privacy and allows no light to penetrate through the material making it an ideal choice for bedrooms and nurseries. It can also be used to great effect in areas such as cinema rooms or boardrooms where blocking daylight is key to preventing screen glare or seeing a projection clearly. Available in a range of attractive colours from neutrals to pastels to brights; you're sure to find a shade to suit your space.
How it works:
As the name suggests the fabric pulls upwards from a cassette at the bottom of the window via a pulley system that allows you to stop the blind at any position.
Our system comes with a smart 7cm tall curved cassette that sits at the bottom of the window, with brushes where the fabric exits to keep the material clean and protected to preserve your investment.
The cassette is made from aluminium and painted white so it blends seemlessly into any room.
Blind Features:
7cm curved cassette to stop dust entering the blind to keep the fabric clean.
The blind is tension sprung to ensure fabric remains flat.
This blind can be stopped and tied off via a cleat at any point on the window.
The blind pulls up from the bottom of the window.
It can be fixed to the window sill or face fixed to the wall below the window if no sill is available.
The aluminium cassette is supplied in a clean, white finish to suit any room.

Very easy ordering process. Just ensure you use a metal tape measure when calculating the width of blind required. Delivery took around 10 days which is fine as all orders are bespoke.
Quality of blind is excellent with little additions that make all the difference.

Fantastic quality and clear communication throughout. I purchased double blinds and they were easy to install. The free samples helped us choosing the right colour and material. I paid for mismeasurement insurance but luckily didn`t have to use it.
Please read the guide below and let us know which type of measurement you are providing:
Recess Size
If you want to fit your blind within the window recess as shown above, please provide us with Recess Size measurements.
To do this you will need to measure inside the window recess from wall to wall for the width and from ceiling to window sill for the drop.
You should take the measurements three times to make sure you get the most accurate sizes - at the top, at the middle and at the bottom for the width and at the top, the middle and the right for the drop.
The three sizes to give us are the smallest of the three measurements for both the width and the drop.
Make sure you do not make any reductions from these sizes yourself. We'll make your blinds slightly smaller on the width than the sizes you give us to make sure that it fits into the space with enough room for it to be installed easily and so the brackets don't scrape the walls, while still covering as much of the window as possible. The adjustment size will differ depending on the type of blind you choose and whether you are adding a cassette to cover the roll - our team will be happy to confirm the reduction amount for you if you advise which blind you are ordering.
Remember that the width of the fabric will always be slightly less than the total width of the blind to allow for the size of the mechanism and brackets - the difference is usually approximately 3.5cm.
Fabric Size or Blind Size
If you want to fit your blind outside of the window recess we recommend overlapping the window by at least 10cm on the width and 10cm on the drop.
You can then specify whether you want us to use these measurements as the Fabric Size or the Blind Size.
Fabric Size
If you choose Fabric Size we will use your measurements as the size of the fabric part of the blind only. This means that the size of the brackets/mechanism/cassette will be in addition to the sizes you provide us - this is usually 3.5cm but our team will be happy to confirm the amount for you before ordering.
Blind Size
If you choose Blind Size we will use your measurements as the size of the total blind including the brackets and mechanism (and cassette if ordered). This means that the fabric part of the blind will be slightly smaller than the sizes you provide. The amount of difference varies depending on the type of blind ordered - it is usually 3.5cm but our team will be happy to confirm the amount for you before ordering.
