    How to measure for Perfect Fit blinds

    Remember to only measure the glass size for the width and drop, using a steel tape measure.

    Perfect Fit Drop

    Step One

    Measure the drop of the glass at the left side, the middle and the right side, and give us the smallest of these sizes in centimetres (cm).

    Step Two

    Measure the width of the glass at the top, the middle and the bottom and give us the smallest of these sizes in centimetres (cm).

    Perfect Fit Clearance

    Step Three - Not applicable for Perfect Fit Shutter Blinds

    Check that you have at least 2.5cm of clearance all the way around the window, to allow enough room for the frame (which overlaps the window by 2.5cm).

    Key areas to check are around the handles and vents, making sure that the distance between the edge of the handle/vent and the edge of the glass is at least 2.5cm.

    If less than this, unfortunately this blind type will not be suitable for your window. This applies to Perfect Fit Roller, Pleated, Cellular, Venetian and Bottom Up only, not Perfect Fit Shutters which are supplied with a recessed handle space.

    To measure the depth of your window you will need:

    - A ruler or steel tape measure

    - A debit card or other small, flat, rigid card

     

    Step 1 - Place your card flat against the window frame, overhanding the glass

    Step 2 - Place the ruler's end up to the glass as shown below

    Step 3 - Note down the measurement where the card touches the ruler.

    Our aluminium Venetian perfect fit blinds are the perfect choice for almost all UPVC windows. Made with a specially design spring tension system this blind is operated via a central handle to raise and lower the blind and tilted using a clear wand.

    The frame can be made in white or brown as you prefer and the control wand can be made on the left or right hand side.

    I cannot say enough about this company. I ordered a total of 12 blinds for my new conservatory and I am extremely happy with my perfecf fit blinds. I watched the video of how to measure and ordered one to start with. It fitted perfectly so I ordered some more and when we fitted those I ordered the rest. They all came in 7 days after ordering, much shorter time than other companies and I saved a lot of money ordering online. Wonderful!

    Quick delivery and very well made blind which I used on an aluminium window - the frame matches the white window perfectly. As the aluminium beads are square compared with upvc ogee I needed to take 2mm off the height and width but easily done - all looks perfect!
