This blind really is a magical addition to a room. A beautiful pale grey star print in the daytime, when the lights are turned off at night the stars come to life and glow! Truly wonderful for a child's bedroom or even a funky addition to a bathroom or lounge.
In order for the stars to glow the ink needs to be 'charged up' by a light source for a little while. We recommend rolling the blinds down for 10-15 minutes before the lights are turned off to ensure a nice glow is achieved.
This black out roller blind is made from a heavy-weight fabric which is formed by 3 layers giving you full privacy and darkness for a good nightís sleep. This fabric is available to order on a made to measure basis, which is available at a maximum width of 2.8 metres with a maximum drop of 2.7 metres up to 1.9 metres wide or 1.7 metres over 1.9 metres wide. Made from 100% Polyester.
Sizing FAQ:
To order a recess size blind enter the wall to wall measurement at the smallest point of your window for for both width and drop. Our factory will make a small 0.5cm reduction to ensure your blind fits into this space.
An exact blind size is the finished blind size including brackets.
Fabric size is the size of the fabric part of the blind only. The finished blind will be 3.5cm wider than this to include for the brackets.
We will add enough fabric to the roll so that when the blind is fully extended the roller tube is still covered.
Please Note This blind is suitable for top fixing or face fixing only, it cannot be side fixed.

Ordered a much needed blackout blind and added a premium cassette for an extra £30 or so. When the blind arrived, despite giving exact measurements, the blind width was cut too wide and did not fit into the cassette (not even close). As we needed the blind I had to carefully cut and adjust the blind to enable it to fit into the cassette to make sure it was on my daughters window that day.
Very frustrating that the team didn't even think to try and see if the blind fitted in the cassette before they put in a box and sent it to me?? As it would have been very obvious it was wider than the cassette.
As the blind is now working (although very stiff to roll up and down) I then received an email from the company asking for feedback. I gave them the feedback about the incorrect measurements and what I had to do to make it fit (with no expectation) and the response I recieved basically said, that as I didn't take pictures of the blind before I cut it they couldn't help me and it voided any warranty and they can't accept any liability for the order being wrong. Very defensive and straight away pushing all responsibility elsewhere before I had even mentioned anything else!
They then followed up with a copy of the warranty and rules. OK CALM DOWN!! haha. I am not going to come after you with a pitchfork, it was feedback, however, the fact that they jumped straight to this response rather than admitting a mistake in the first place is telling.
ADVICE - If you pay a load extra for a cassette with a blind make sure it fits when you recieve it (as this company won't have done and would have just chucked it in a box and sent it) and if it doesn't fit,don't do anything and take pictures and return it, or alternative save yourself the hassle and use one of the many other online blind websites :)

We apologise for the inconvenience caused by the incorrect measurements and the blind not fitting into the cassette as expected. We understand how frustrating this must have been for you, especially when you urgently needed the blind for your daughter's window.
As is usually the case with bespoke products any adjustments made by a third party voids the warranty as it stops the manufacturer from being able to confirm the error and resolve it, but regarding our response to your feedback we do apologize if it came across as defensive. Our intention was certainly not to avoid taking responsibility and apologise for any misunderstanding caused there.
Just to explain, we request photos so that we can establish the errors and then correct them at our factory as we don't wish our customers to have to fix errors themselves - not only as they have paid for a correct product but as a safety measure as they may not have the equipment that would allow them to safely make their own adjustments.
Your advice is greatly appreciated, and we want to assure you that we are taking your feedback seriously. We will address the issues you mentioned and work on improving our processes to ensure that such situations do not occur in the future.

Recess Size
If you want to fit your blind within the window recess as shown above, please provide us with Recess Size measurements.
To do this you will need to measure inside the window recess from wall to wall for the width and from ceiling to window sill for the drop.
You should take the measurements three times to make sure you get the most accurate sizes - at the top, at the middle and at the bottom for the width and at the top, the middle and the right for the drop.
The three sizes to give us are the smallest of the three measurements for both the width and the drop.
Make sure you do not make any reductions from these sizes yourself. We'll make your blinds slightly smaller on the width than the sizes you give us to make sure that it fits into the space with enough room for it to be installed easily and so the brackets don't scrape the walls, while still covering as much of the window as possible. The adjustment size will differ depending on the type of blind you choose and whether you are adding a cassette to cover the roll - our team will be happy to confirm the reduction amount for you if you advise which blind you are ordering.
Remember that the width of the fabric will always be slightly less than the total width of the blind to allow for the size of the mechanism and brackets - the difference is usually approximately 3.5cm.
Fabric Size or Blind Size
If you want to fit your blind outside of the window recess we recommend overlapping the window by at least 10cm on the width and 10cm on the drop.
You can then specify whether you want us to use these measurements as the Fabric Size or the Blind Size.
Fabric Size
If you choose Fabric Size we will use your measurements as the size of the fabric part of the blind only. This means that the size of the brackets/mechanism/cassette will be in addition to the sizes you provide us - this is usually 3.5cm but our team will be happy to confirm the amount for you before ordering.
Blind Size
If you choose Blind Size we will use your measurements as the size of the total blind including the brackets and mechanism (and cassette if ordered). This means that the fabric part of the blind will be slightly smaller than the sizes you provide. The amount of difference varies depending on the type of blind ordered - it is usually 3.5cm but our team will be happy to confirm the amount for you before ordering.

Roller System Options
'Standard' Roller System with Brackets & Covers
Our standard roller system allows the fabric roll, brackets and blind mechanism to be seen. They can be either top fixed or face fixed, but not side fixed. This is the most common system used and is the one you've probably seen around the most.
To give our system a premium finish we supply matching plastic bracket covers with our standard roller system at no additional cost. Just slip them over the metal bracket once its screwed into place for a neat, attractive finish.
You can choose from three colours for this system - white, black or anthracite grey.
Luxury Roller System
If you choose our luxury roller system we will supply you with a smart 7cm tall aluminium cassette that hides the top of the roll of fabric, the brackets and the blind mechanism. It also removes the gap you would usually see between the ceiling and the fabric roll giving a neater and more high end, contemporary finish. You can choose from three colours for this system - white, black or anthracite grey.
The cassette can be either top fixed or face fixed depending where you are fitting your blind. Top fix is used when fitting your brackets at the top to the 'ceiling' area inside a recess; while face fixed is used when brackets are attached vertically on the wall for the cassette to clip into such as when you are fitting above a window outside of the recess.
The cassette is around 8cm deep, so please bear this in mind when deciding if its the best option for your space depending on how you will be fitting it. For example, if face fixing the cassette it will protrude from the wall by around 8cm, so its best to ensure there is nothing in the area that will clash with them such as a door.
For most fabrics the cassette will have a piece of the same fabric as the blind itself fitted into the cassette as seen in the image above, however, if you are purchasing a sunscreen or sheer blind this fabric cannot be used as an insert and so the cassette will be supplied plain as shown below:

Roll Direction
We offer a choice of roll direction on this blind as illustrated below:
Standard Roll
The fabric will roll off the back of the roller tube towards the window, so the backing of the fabric is visible.
Reverse Roll
The fabric will roll off the front of the roller tube towards the room, so the backing of the fabric is not visible.
