Our beautiful selection of Orla Kiely roller blinds are made from top quality components and look stunning in just about any room they adorn. Choose from either blackout or dim-out fabric to suit the space it will hang in. The blackout fabric prevents any natural light from seeping through the fabric so is ideal for bedrooms as it helps you get a comfortable night's sleep or go for semi-transparent dim out fabric that gently filters the light entering the room.
Please Note This blind is suitable for top fixing or face fixing only, it cannot be side fixed.
Blind Features:
The design is available on either a semi-transparent dim out or an opaque blackout fabric with a white backing.
This design is supplied with a plain off white bottom bar
Made on a rust free aluminium roller tube with geared sidewinder mechanism for complete control which can be fitted on the left or right as you desire.
Choose from either white, black or silver brackets.
Supplied with a nickel chain and child safety clip for peace of mind.
The front of the white bottom bar is supplied wrapped in a coordinating plain coloured fabric.
Comes fully made to measure and will be reverse rolled as standard.
Measurements are in metric with width first followed by drop.
Pattern repeat: 17cm x 16cm
Sizing FAQ:
To order a recess size blind enter the wall to wall measurement at the smallest point of your window for for both width and drop. Our factory will make a small 0.5cm reduction to ensure your blind fits into this space.
An exact blind size is the finished blind size including brackets.
Fabric size is the size of the fabric part of the blind only. The finished blind will be 3.5cm wider than this to include for the brackets.
We will add enough fabric to the roll so that when the blind is fully extended the roller tube is still covered.
Safety and Fitting information: As members of the BBSA and Make It Safe Campaign we take child safety very seriously when making your blinds. We only use quality roller blind components such as aluminium tubes, metal brackets and Louvolite sidewinder mechanisms to assemble your blind. When it comes to the control chain we provide every roller blind that uses a chain with a tensioning safety device like the one shown in our gallery photo for peace of mind.

Very easy ordering process. Just ensure you use a metal tape measure when calculating the width of blind required. Delivery took around 10 days which is fine as all orders are bespoke.
Quality of blind is excellent with little additions that make all the difference.

Please read the guide below and let us know which type of measurement you are providing:
Recess Size
If you want to fit your blind within the window recess as shown above, please provide us with Recess Size measurements.
To do this you will need to measure inside the window recess from wall to wall for the width and from ceiling to window sill for the drop.
You should take the measurements three times to make sure you get the most accurate sizes - at the top, at the middle and at the bottom for the width and at the top, the middle and the right for the drop.
The three sizes to give us are the smallest of the three measurements for both the width and the drop.
Make sure you do not make any reductions from these sizes yourself. We'll make your blinds slightly smaller on the width than the sizes you give us to make sure that it fits into the space with enough room for it to be installed easily and so the brackets don't scrape the walls, while still covering as much of the window as possible. The adjustment size will differ depending on the type of blind you choose and whether you are adding a cassette to cover the roll - our team will be happy to confirm the reduction amount for you if you advise which blind you are ordering.
Remember that the width of the fabric will always be slightly less than the total width of the blind to allow for the size of the mechanism and brackets - the difference is usually approximately 3.5cm.
Fabric Size or Blind Size
If you want to fit your blind outside of the window recess we recommend overlapping the window by at least 10cm on the width and 10cm on the drop.
You can then specify whether you want us to use these measurements as the Fabric Size or the Blind Size.
Fabric Size
If you choose Fabric Size we will use your measurements as the size of the fabric part of the blind only. This means that the size of the brackets/mechanism/cassette will be in addition to the sizes you provide us - this is usually 3.5cm but our team will be happy to confirm the amount for you before ordering.
Blind Size
If you choose Blind Size we will use your measurements as the size of the total blind including the brackets and mechanism (and cassette if ordered). This means that the fabric part of the blind will be slightly smaller than the sizes you provide. The amount of difference varies depending on the type of blind ordered - it is usually 3.5cm but our team will be happy to confirm the amount for you before ordering.
Help
The control chain/cord for your blind can be on either the left or right side.
When deciding, consider whether you have any furniture that will make reaching the controls harder on a certain side; or if you are having multiple blinds in the same room whether you want them all on the same side or on opposite sides.

Roll Direction
We offer a choice of roll direction on this blind as illustrated below:
Standard Roll
The fabric will roll off the back of the roller tube towards the window, so the backing of the fabric is visible.
Reverse Roll
The fabric will roll off the front of the roller tube towards the room, so the backing of the fabric is not visible.
