    How to measure for Perfect Fit blinds

    Remember to only measure the glass size for the width and drop, using a steel tape measure.

    Perfect Fit Drop

    Step One

    Measure the drop of the glass at the left side, the middle and the right side, and give us the smallest of these sizes in centimetres (cm).

    Measure the width of the glass at the top, the middle and the bottom and give us the smallest of these sizes in centimetres (cm).

    Step Three - Not applicable for Perfect Fit Shutter Blinds

    Check that you have at least 2.5cm of clearance all the way around the window, to allow enough room for the frame (which overlaps the window by 2.5cm).

    Key areas to check are around the handles and vents, making sure that the distance between the edge of the handle/vent and the edge of the glass is at least 2.5cm.

    If less than this, unfortunately this blind type will not be suitable for your window. This applies to Perfect Fit Roller, Pleated, Cellular, Venetian and Bottom Up only, not Perfect Fit Shutters which are supplied with a recessed handle space.

    - A ruler or steel tape measure

    - A debit card or other small, flat, rigid card

     

    Step 1 - Place your card flat against the window frame, overhanding the glass

    Step 2 - Place the ruler's end up to the glass as shown below

    Step 3 - Note down the measurement where the card touches the ruler.

    Blind didn't even fit with the sizes I gave them. Had to cut it and adjust. Customer service poor, had to pay an extra for postage as I live on mainland UK ("free mainland UK delivery") but apparently I'm on an island to this website. Was brushed off by the management and still had to incur the fee. Won't be using the company again.

    Dear Mr Davidson, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and we are sorry to hear that you are not happy with your order. Unfortunately delivery costs are dictated by our contracted courier company who do charge extra for delivering to Northern Scotland. As we don’t add any mark ups to the delivery cost it does unfortunately mean that we need to pass this additional charge on to the customer if it applies to the delivery area. In relation to the blind not fitting, if there has been an error made on our part we always wish to rectify the issue. Checking our records we can’t see that we were informed of any issues with sizing and given the opportunity to investigate the matter, but if you do wish to discuss further please do get in touch and we will happy to help.

    Product looks great on the window, order and delivery was seamless. Only challenge is putting it all together - edges are very, very sharp and you can easy get injured.

    Fitting instructions are very confusing and not easy to follow at all . The frame is very flimsy and quality not as expected . Sorry to say but I’ve thrown mine in the bin .
