Perfect Fit Shutters are a revolutionary approach to window dressing. Encompassing the classic elegance associated with traditional shutters in an easy fit, more adaptable system that can be installed in minutes with no need to pay for professional installers.
Rather than than being fit to the recess in front of the windows, the Perfect Fit Shutter panels simply clip into brackets slid into the beading around the glass windows - no need for drilling into and damaging the window recess or caulking after they have been installed to get a seamless edge. This makes them ideal for windows with irregular recesses where traditional shutters wouldn't be suitable, but also for conservatories and tilt and turn windows, french doors and both inward and outward opening windows.
Made from waterproof PVC polymer, they can be simply wiped clean and also easily removed by un-clipping them from the brackets, to clean the window panes or when redecorating.
Available in two shades of white - gentle Cotton White or bright Arctic White - they blend beautifully with white PVC window frames to give a chic, high end feel with a more purse-friendly price, versatility and practicality than a traditional shutter. Plus there's no need for the expense of hiring professional installers!
When fitted to doors or windows that open, you can still operate the door or window fully as the shutter is attached to the glass not the window frame or recess.
Inherently child safe as there are no hanging cords
Easy to remove for cleaning the window panes or redecorating.
Leaves your window sills clear for a clutter free look or for decor accessories.
The top and bottom bars are floating so you can choose where to filter the light and where to have privacy.
Depending on the width of the glass in your windows, your shutter will be made from one, two or three panels and may also need a midrail if the drop exceeds 160cm. You will be informed of how many panels and whether a midrail is required when you configure your blind and enter your glass sizes.
Minimum width: 30cm, Minimum Drop: 30cm, Maximum Width: 225cm, Maximum Drop: 210cm.
I have used Order Blinds several times. The service is fast, friendly and efficient, and products are always good

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're truly sorry to hear that you experienced issues with your blind and are dissatisfied with the response from our team. We take all feedback very seriously and have reviewed the correspondence thoroughly.
We would like to clarify that, as outlined in the terms and conditions accepted at the time of purchase, any amendments made to the product after delivery unfortunately void the warranty. In this case, it appears the product was altered before we were contacted about the issue, which prevented us from being able to troubleshoot or offer a solution directly.
We’ve been supplying this blind for many years and have full confidence in its quality, design, and our trusted supplier. While no product is completely immune to occasional faults, we always welcome the opportunity to investigate and resolve any concerns. Regrettably, since the blind was dismantled by your installer prior to any communication with us, we were unable to assess the issue properly or provide assistance.
We do appreciate your feedback and are always looking for ways to improve. Should you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Depending on the size of your window, the number of shutter panels will vary. You will also need a 'midrail' if your blind is over a certain size.
The guide below explains how many panels will be required depending on both the glass size and the location of the window's handle (if it has one) :
Window Handles
If the handle on your window is on the left or the right hand side, this will have no effect on the number of panels required.
If the handle is located at the bottom of your window, you will always have to have an odd number of panels so that the handle is not positioned where two panels join.
For more information on handle positions please click the ? icons next to 'Window Handle Location' and 'Handle Position' on the product page when configuring your shutters.
Single Panel
Visible Glass Size - 30cm to 75cm Wide
If your window has a visible glass size of between 30cm to 75cm wide, you will require one single shutter panel.
If you have a handle, we will include a rounded indentation in the frame to allow the handle to still move and operate when the shutter panel is in place. This can be located at the left, the right or at the bottom.
Double Panel
Visible Glass Size - 75.1cm to 150cm Wide
If your window has a visible glass size of between 75.1cm to 150cm wide, you will require two shutter panels to cover the glass. They will be joined with a subtle vertical bar.
If you have a handle, we will include a rounded indentation in the frame to allow the handle to still move and operate when the shutter panel is in place. This can be located at the left or the right, but notat the bottom. If your handle is located at the bottom, you will require three panels so the handle doesn't sit on the join.
Triple Panel
Visible Glass Size - 150.1cm to 225cm Wide
If your window has a visible glass size of between 150.1cm to 225cm wide, you will require three shutter panels to cover the glass. They will be joined with a subtle vertical bar between each panel.
If you have a handle, we will include a rounded indentation in the frame to allow the handle to still move and operate when the shutter panel is in place. This can be located at the left, the right or at the bottom.
Midrails
If your blind has a drop of 160cm or over, you will need a midrail on each shutter panel. This means that the top and bottom sections of slats are controlled independently with their own handrails.
The midrail will always be positioned at the halfway point, so for example if your shutter has a 160cm drop the midrail will be located 80cm from the top.

How to measure for Perfect Fit blinds
Remember to only measure the glass size for the width and drop, using a steel tape measure.
Step One
Measure the drop of the glass at the left side, the middle and the right side, and give us the smallest of these sizes in centimetres (cm).
Step Two
Measure the width of the glass at the top, the middle and the bottom and give us the smallest of these sizes in centimetres (cm).
Step Three - Not applicable for Perfect Fit Shutter Blinds
Check that you have at least 2.5cm of clearance all the way around the window, to allow enough room for the frame (which overlaps the window by 2.5cm).
Key areas to check are around the handles and vents, making sure that the distance between the edge of the handle/vent and the edge of the glass is at least 2.5cm.
If less than this, unfortunately this blind type will not be suitable for your window. This applies to Perfect Fit Roller, Pleated, Cellular, Venetian and Bottom Up only, not Perfect Fit Shutters which are supplied with a recessed handle space.
Help
To measure the depth of your window you will need:
- A ruler or steel tape measure
- A debit card or other small, flat, rigid card
Step 1 - Place your card flat against the window frame, overhanding the glass
Step 2 - Place the ruler's end up to the glass as shown below
Step 3 - Note down the measurement where the card touches the ruler.

Tilt Bar Control Side
Your shutter will come with a tilt bar for adjusting the angle of the louvres to let in more or less light.
You can choose whether the tilt bar will be on the left or the right hand side of the shutter panel, but please note that the tilt bar cannot be on the same side as the handle on your window:
Help
Handle Location
If you have a window handle, part of the shutter frame will be adjusted to accommodate it and allow the window to be opened and closed with the shutter panel installed.
So we can ensure the adjustment is made to the right area, you'll need to let us know the location of the handle or select 'no handle' from the drop down menu.

Handle Measurements
If you have a window handle, part of the shutter frame will be adjusted to accommodate it and allow the window to be opened and closed with the shutter panel installed.
So we can ensure the adjustment is made to the right area, you'll need to let us know the location of the handle.
Handle Position
To measure your handle position, simply turn the handle to the fully open position and measure from the edge of the glass to middle of where the handle pivots as illustrated above.
If your handle is located at the bottom of the window rather than the side, take your measurement from the left edge of the glass to the middle of where the handle pivots as shown below:
Pivot Points
This is the point at which the handle moves or 'pivots', where the central metal bar that connects the handle to the window is located.
Different handles will pivot in different places, so please look at the images below to see a few examples of where the handle's pivot point is located / how the handle may pivot on its mounting plate:

Window Reference
If you're ordering panels for multiple windows in the same room, you might want to give each window an individual reference name or number so it's simple to know which shutter panel is for which window when they arrive. An example is given below:
This reference will be printed on the label of each individual shutter panel for easy organisation.
