A little lighter than a navy blue, Stoneybrook is elegant and refined - ideal for coastal or maritime themed rooms should you wish to add a calming oceanic feel to your home. It also looks wonderful with silver accessories or ivories and creams for a cool, chic decor scheme.
The high level blackout effect means you have complete control over the amount of natural light entering your room making it ideal for bedrooms or rooms with screens to prevent glare, but is also a great way of adding a little more privacy for ground level rooms.
Total Blackout is the brand name for our blinds that feature side channels, cassettes and brush strips designed to block as much light as possible from entering the room. Please note however, that depending on the levelness and consistency in shape of the individual window aperture, it is possible to still experience a small amount of light bleed at the top or bottom corners, on the sill or on the inside of the side channels so we are unable to guarantee absolute darkness.
Our total blackout cassette blind is only suitable for fitting inside the window recess. Unlike our regular total blackout blind this product sits completely inside the recess. This means that if your wall is not straight light can enter the room between the frame of the blind and the wall. If you have this scenario we recommend filling this gap with decorators caulk to create a complete blackout effect.
How To Measure For A Total Blackout Cassette Blind:
1. Using a steel tape, measure the width at the top, middle and bottom of the window noting all 3 sizes.
(We can make the blind to suit sizes between 40-240cm wide).
2. Next measure the drop of the window at the left, middle and the right. Again, note down all 3 measurements.
(We can make the blind to suit sizes between 30-240cm drop. For blinds over 200cm wide we will turn the fabric on its side giving a maximum drop of 170cm without a join. Blinds over 200cm wide x 170cm drop will be made with a horizontal join in the fabric).
3. Measure the depth of your window recess.
(This system requires at least 12cm depth to fit as this is how deep the cassette is).
4. Check for any obstructions that may restrict the usage of the blind. This may include trickle vents, top opening windows, skirting boards, or protruding window handles. As these blinds are designed to be flush all the way down the wall, windows with any skirting are not suitable for this type of blind.
How To Order A Total Blackout Cassette Blind:
Once you have chosen your favourite fabric colour

Please note that the side channels are always manufactured to the same drop, based on the shortest measurement provided. To address variations in window measurements, these blinds are equipped with adjustable brackets. These brackets can be adjusted by up to 5mm to accommodate the discrepancy between the left and right side measurements, ensuring a snug fit without any gaps.
