The sketch stem design of our Viale range of day and night fabrics, gives the subtle impression of pressed foliage, providing a point of interest, whilst the subtle colours work in almost any colour scheme.
An attractive and innovative solution for many windows, our clever Day and Night blind system works using a looped piece of fabric so that when you raise or lower the blind you can make the alternating sheer and opaque stripes either align or disalign in varying amounts for amazing light control.
Operating it to the point where the stripes align allows the sheer areas to let in light in while if you adjust them to disalign all the light is then blocked by the opaque stripes. Just use the chain operation to move the stripes to any position you wish to let the perfect amount of natural light enter the space as you need it.
This range is made using Louvolite's Vision hardware so when the blind is completely rolled up, the window is virtually completely clear. This makes them a perfect choice for patio doors where a wood venetian would cause too much of an obstruction.
What to expect from this blind
We use a 7cm tall cassette to house the blind which ensures the roller tube and mechanism is completely hidden from view (unless you look directly up from underneath it).
You can choose to have a plain metal cassette to cover the top roll or we can insert a piece of a coordinating fabric into the cassette for a sleek finish.
We use a white, black or anthracite grey exposed external weight bar with a smart high gloss finish.
In the down position the blind will be set to be closed
In a recess we will set the blind to finish between 0.5-1cm from the window sill
We attach the fabric to the back of the cassette and then roll the material off the back of the roller. This ensures the two pieces of fabric travel tight together and close to the window for the best level of light control possible.
The fabric will be 3.5cm smaller than the finished blind size to accommodate the blind mechanism
This blind can be top fixed or face fixed only, it cannot be side fixed.

Measurements are in metric with width first followed by drop.
When fully down the blind will finish in the closed position for complete privacy.
My order was a Lorna Syson fabric roller blind. It is lovely and beautifully made. The order was swift and accurate. My only regret is that I didn't have a reverse roll direction. This was my fault and it would have looked so much better with the fabric covering the actual roller mechanism, rather than it showing the plain white lining. I will definitely order from them again.

I am very pleased with the blinds, however, on their website you can choose standard or reverse roll but it does not make it clear what these mean, ie standard was from the back & reverse from the front!! which I only found out once they were delivered, I was under the impression that reverse roll would be from the back of the blind (which is what I wanted). Very disappointed with the Courier that was used, they gave me three dates for my delivery a Friday, then Monday & then Tuesday. They were then delivered on the Tuesday. I do not know if I would use them again due to courier issues & the standard & reverse rolls. Quality of blinds very nice though.

The blinds received were of very good quality and the order was processed very quickly considering they were manufactured to order. My criticism is more for the attention of Order Blinds as they have made some changes to what you receive since we last used them. They now supply a "U" shaped clip to retain the cord and chain which is secured by two sticky pads, where previously they supplied a "P" clip which is secured by a screw. Whilst the new retainer is much easier to fix it is useless to someone like me who removes the blinds for decorating, I purchased new "P" clips to replace the ones supplied. They also supplied two type of fixing clips/brackets one for mounting from above the other a much more substantial bracket for mounting to the window frame. You would be in danger of losing your warranty on new pvc windows if you screwed into them by using the second bracket. Order Blinds need to change their order form so that buyers can specify which mounting they require this would reduce waste as one mounting will be put in the bin. I provided dimensions with my order which were the exact measurements of the window reveals, the blinds manufactured were reduced in size to provide clearance. When fitted I think Order Blinds had been over generous with the clearance as there was 15mm+ around the blind where I would have expected 10mm max.

I was surprised how heavy the blind was - it is probably very good for somewhere other than a home as it has metal ends which may suit many places - but I was hoping for something white and more discreet - I’m sure it’s very well made and built to last

Purchased 4 pull down blinds for my patio door recently. After a couple of months the blind became very hard to rool up and I could see the edge was creased and not winding up very well. I contacted Order Blinds and wasn't sure because of the time lapse that they would do anything? But they were amazing. No quibble and asked me to re measure and submit measurements to them and they sent me a new cassette free delivery as well. Such a lovely gesture great customer service!! Will definitely use them again!! The blinds themselves are 1st class too!!!
