How can Classic Bottom Up Blinds work for me?

Whether you live in a city or a village, a new build or an old character property; if you have only a small front yard or your door opens right onto the street then you can suffer from privacy issues. Whether it's just nosey onlookers staring into your home as they walk by or because you have valuable posessions that you don't want to be seen by prying eyes for security reasons, it can be hard to block the view into your room with a traditional blind without always having it closed and losing all the natural light. This is where our clever bottom up blinds come in!

For a simple explanation, imagine a roller blind installed upside down with the roll at the bottom of the window and the bottom edge of the blind at the top, so it needs to be pulled upwards to move it to the correct level. Of course with a traditional blind gravity won't let this happen, but with our innovative system the top of the blind features cords that attached the the top of the window allowing the blind to be pulled up to the desired level and secured there by wrapping the cord around a simple cleat at the side of the window. This means that you can have the bottom of the window at sight level blocked from view while natural light can come in from the top above the blind, so you can have the best of both worlds - privacy and daylight!

We also encase the roll within a smart, curved white cassette than can either be secured to the window sill or attached to the wall under the window if a sill is unavailable. Not only does this provide a neat and clean aesthetic but it also features in built brushes that ensure your blind is always clean and dust free.

How to measure for Classic Bottom Up Blinds?

You can measure for our Classic cord & pulley bottom up blinds in the same way that you would measure for a conventional pull down roller blind. Firstly you need to decide where you are going to fit the blind (inside or outside of the window recess) & then take your measurements carefully & accurately to the nearest millimetre.
