What are the benefits of Perfect Fit Blinds?

No Drilling, No Damage - Perfect Fit Blinds can be fit in minutes with no drilling or tools required. The clever brackets slip between the beading and the glass at the edge of the window pane and leave no damage when removed.
Extremely Versatile - Because they are fitted to the glass, these blinds move with the window allowing you to open and close it as normal. This is especially handy for 'tilt and turn' windows and doors where a traditional hanging blind would be in the way and clash with the frame.

Choose from an array of roller fabric styles including blackout, light filtering, sheer or sunscreen in a lovely selection of plain colours or stylish prints. Alternatively choose from some of our other highly practical options such as cellular fabric that offers thermal protection to help lower your energy bills, aluminium or wood venetian styles for a blend of tradition and modernity or choose our newest addition to the range - Perfect Fit Shutters! These beautiful blinds don't require professional installers or damage the window surround, to save you money while giving you the classic shutter look you love.
Excellent Light Control - The perfect fit frame around the blind means there are minimal gaps either side of the window blocking far more light than a traditional roller blind.
Child & Pet Safe By Design - These blinds offer a cordless solution, making them ideal for homes with pets or children where hanging cords can post a safety risk. Perfect Fit Rollers, Pleated, Cellular and Aluminium Venetians are spring tensioned allowing you to operate the blind via a handle on the bottom bar to raise and lower the blind, while the Perfect Fit Wood Venetian blinds use a wand to tilt the slats open and closed.
Make Light Work For You - The tensioned system allows you to stop the blind at any point, so you can block as much or as little light from entering the room to suit your needs at any time. They can also be installed upside down to create a 'bottom up' blind, offering privacy at the bottom with light still entering at the top - great for street level rooms.

Do Perfect Fit Blinds damage the windows?

Absolutely not! The Perfect Fit system was design by Louvolite, one of the most trusted manufacturers of window blind systems and components - definitely not a company that would design and sell a product that would cause damage to your home. The system underwent rigorous testing before it was launched in 2006 and has been kept up to date ever since to suit a huge range of windows and doors.

On top of this, with our incredible 10 year guarantee and years of experience, you can rest assured that we are confident in the design and quality of everything we sell.

You should note however that the condition of the windows before you install Perfect Fit Blinds should be considered. Although the blinds shouldn't exasperate them, if the windows have existing issues or are in poor condition already you may experience further deterioration further down line.

Do the brackets damage the window seal?

No, the brackets will not damage the seal in your windows. The brackets that hold the frames in place are specially designed to simply slip between the beading and the glass of the window, causing no damage at all. In fact, the brackets are specifically sized so that they don't touch the window seal at all, which sits further into the frame than the brackets reach.

Having trouble fitting the brackets into the beading? A little dab of washing up liquid on the brackets can help them slide into place easily.

Do Perfect Fit Blinds provide total blackout?

No, but your choice of fabric can give you great light blockage. The system itself wasn't designed to offer a total blackout solution and there will always be a little light seepage around the edges of the frame, however we do offer options in blackout fabrics that ensure no light comes through the material.

Our blackout roller fabrics are made of several layers to ensure that no light can pass through it, but we also offer blackout cellular fabrics which have a thermal foil layer in the cells that not only blocks light but also traps the air to help keep your room cooler in the Summer and stop the heat in the room from escaping during the winter. Now that's what we call practical!

Are Perfect Fit Blinds suitable for sliding doors?

Unfortunately not. The Perfect Fit Frame sticks out slightly from the door frame, so it will most likely stop the doors from sliding closed. We offer lots of other blinds to suit sliding doors though! Click here to view our Sliding Door Blinds selection.
